About our Family

Every family has a love story. Ours just happens to be told in paw prints.

Long before Sterling Cove had a name, there were Siamese cats—curled in our laps, sleeping on our pillows, and quietly stealing our hearts. Our parents bred them. Our childhood was shaped by them. Our home was always humming with the gentle rhythm of purrs. That’s where it began: with love, tradition, and the unmistakable elegance of animals raised as family.

Years later, we found ourselves captivated by the Traditional Balinese—a breed that moves like poetry and bonds like family. Regal in presence, intelligent in spirit, and endlessly affectionate, they felt like old souls wrapped in silk coats. We knew we had found our calling.

But our story didn’t stop with cats.

Along the way, our hearts expanded to include dogs—specifically terriers, a group of breeds known for their intelligence, confidence, and deep devotion to their people. We chose Lakeland Terriers for their ideal size, steady temperament, and spirited yet thoughtful nature. They are bold without being overwhelming, affectionate without being demanding, and endlessly loyal to their families.

Our program also proudly includes an Airedale Terrier stud, honoring the legacy of the “King of Terriers.” Intelligent, athletic, and deeply intuitive, the Airedale brings strength, character, and versatility to our breeding philosophy.

Sterling Cove was named after our beloved Siamese, Sterling—a cat with a silver heart and a golden soul. He wasn’t just a pet; he was our compass. Our why. And that same standard of love, intention, and respect now guides every animal we raise.

At Sterling Cove, we don’t raise cats or dogs behind glass or in tidy rows. We raise them in the mess and magic of real life. They chase sunbeams across hardwood floors, nap in laundry baskets, follow us from room to room, and become part of every dinner party, movie night, and morning routine.

Here, every kitten and puppy is born into a story—and raised to be confident, social, curious companions, ready for the next chapter with you.

We are a small, registered cattery with TICA, CFA, and CFF, and a thoughtfully developed dog program following AKC guidelines, built on temperament, health, and purpose. But more than breeders, we are matchmakers of the heart—pairing our animals with the families they’re meant to grow old with.
